It’s a story about most powerful instinct – instinct “of coming back home”. This instinct is an essence of Salmons. it’s so deep in their blood. Instinct guides these beautiful fishes throughout all that hard way they have to make traveling up the stream. It’s a a movie about crystal clear river waters and innocent wild nature. They Came From Downstream filmed in Sweden in Summer of 2015 in three incredible beautiful rivers – Lainio, Byske and Vindel. They Came From Downstream is a fly fishing film dedicated to salmon species that starts their life in the rivers that run towards Baltic Sea. We spent last summer wandering by these rivers enjoying the atmosphere and trying to catch silver bullets during their short visit to their birth place.
