Our maiden voyage.
The filmers first ever fishing trip.
And our first attempt to make a film.
We set off from Sydney and trek north to conquer the east coast of Australia. With sites set on tropical north Queensland.
With a few unsuccessful stops, we finally roll into Hinchenbrook, 2400km from our origin.
We met Alex in a few minutes of arrival. A backpacker from Quebec, a top bloke and a mad fly fisherman. But a virgin to saltwater fly.
This film is about 3 friends brought together by fate to make their imprint on the world of fly fishing.
Unveiling some of Australia’s most exotic destinations, and monster species.
This film is not your run of the mill fly fishing film. Hard, fast and full of energy. Beautiful images, raw emotion and true passion. Its about the adventure. The endless chase for that feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction.
